I agree with both of the comments posted from Yome and Blake. I don’t really understand why Nike has decided to keep Tiger, but it might be because it would cost them more to sign someone else and do all new ads and such. It’s almost a shame that Tiger has kept this hidden so long and it’s sad that it has been so open to the public. I feel sorry for his family, but I think it’s just the karma coming back to him. I just feel for the family for having to go through that because of the idiocy of Tiger. I can just say that the media should leave the family alone and let them deal with the issues that have been happening. As for Nike, I would like to see how things pan out… are they going to start watching his every move and start scrutinizing him more, or will they let this whole ordeal slide by?

In fact, Woods has dropped from the 6th to the 24th highest paid celebrity endorser in a matter of days!

Possible reason for their decision: the people they are marketing to. Gillette sells to ALL kinds of people. Tag is looking for wealthy watch purchasers. Accenture looks to an elite clientele. They all dumped him. So what’s the difference? Nike’s main purchasers are young, and Nike figures they won’t be bothered by the image of an immature, sneaky, lying, lowlife. Now, if he doesn’t come back to golf, or sucks when he does, they’ll drop him like a hot rock.

Oh, and all of you who say his personal life doesn’t matter..you are wrong! Personal lives are a very important part of the ‘whole package’ that companies are looking for when they want someone to endorse their product for millions of dollars a year! If he wants the big bucks for endorsements, he needs to stay clean and keep out of trouble. It’s not that hard! To make that kind of money in endorsements, he needs to be a role model on all fronts. Endorsing a product is a privilege. His personal life is a huge part of his image, which is what Nike and other sponsors are paying for. You can’t have serious personal issues but be great at your craft, and expect for no one to care about your personal life when you are endorsing a product.

I really dont understand why people care so much as to what celebs do in there “time off”. Common people get cheated on everyday and they don’t have blogs or gossip written about him.

Im sorry that this has happened to you, but its not your fault. I have had friends that have been the mistress and first it was rape, but then he said that it was because he loved her and had always wanted to be with her. Sadly for her, she believed him. I don’t wanna say that its always the guy, but in cercumstances it happens to be that way for my experiences.

I dont think its fair for people to blog about the lives of celebs and have them feel more ashamed than they already are. Its hard enough to go through something like that without the media but to have to go through something like this publicly is a completely different matter… so in all this, i have one thing to say…

So i might have already done this artist but i am kinda in love with this song. I heard it for the first time this weekend and with the recent events in my life i feel like this song fits perfectly with how i am feeling. With the passing of a good friend of mine he was the sole person that came to mind as i listened to this. I might have mentioned this in earlier posts.. but im not rightly sure.. so i might repeat myself.

This summer, i went to warped tour in shockapee minnesota and had tons of fun. and least importantly.. really really sunburnt.

After walking around and listening to some bands that i had never heard of before, i got a call from a friend of mine telling me that i should get over to the hurley stage because there was a band playing that he thought i would like. That band was Inner Party System. (IPS) I listened to them play and was sooo blown away by what i had heard i couldnt wait to get to their merch tent to by a CD. Welllllll i got there a bit to late and they had most of the stuff packed up. :( But one of the songs that i enjoyed most was Don’t Stop. I cant really tell you why i like it so much.. i just really enjoy the variety of it. :)

missing home

so i have decided today… that i really miss home. even tho my dad and i dont really get along that well… i still miss it.. as of now.. November 6th i have been here at school for about four months, gone home twice, and seen my famlily 2 other times. im just really starting to miss being at home and getting to see my little brother grow. :(

i was just flipping through my songs on itunes and found a song that i fell in love with.

i heard this song last easter and i fell in love with it the first time i heard it. loved it so much that it actually pushed me to tears… and for me thats a big deal. growing up, we (as in me and my sister) we pressured not to show emotions such as crying.. so crying in church.. with the humongous easter crowd was kinda a big deal for me.. i wasnt sure why i started to cry… but it felt right and i felt that i could really relate to the song because i felt they were talking directly to me… but after finding it again, i fell in love with it all over again… tears and all
